The beauty of deciding to have an intimate wedding day instead of the large traditional wedding is that it can be anywhere in the world and can have an absolutely stunning backdrop! Intimate wedding days are my favorite and Kelsey and Zack showed me even more why I love them! They are so pure, intentional, and simply intimate. Every single moment, decor, and person truly is put in place for a reason. It's an amazing experience. Say Yes To Having An Intimate Wedding Day At Douglas Lake, Tennessee!
Kelsey and Zack had originally planned to have a large traditional wedding in their hometown, but quickly realized that their plans weren’t truly resonating with what they wanted out of their wedding day. So they swapped the big traditional wedding plans for an intimate wedding on Douglas Lake in Dandridge Tennessee overlooking the mountains with their closest family and friends. Dandridge is a great location for a wedding because there are so many rentals around Douglas Lake and it’s located just outside of Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains- so you can have the best of both worlds! A Peak Into How Their Intimate Lakeside Wedding Day Unfolded
Their day was beautiful, intimate, and intentional. Kelsey got ready upstairs with the help of her sisters and her daughter while Zack wrote his private vows downstairs. After getting ready, Kelsey had a first look with some of the beautiful people who helped raise her- her mama and her close family friends. Then it was time to do the first look for her and Zack- we drove to the Dandridge Dock and had the water and mountains surrounding them as they saw each other for the first time and exchanged their private vows. They had a beautiful ceremony, exchanged their rings, and promised forever to each other as their family and friends looked on with tear-filled eyes. Then we got to sneak off for some couples portraits after the ceremony and found some local TVRA land that made a beautiful backdrop for their photos!
I'm so honored I had the opportunity to capture such precious moments with these two. It makes me incredibly happy knowing that they'll be able to look back on these photos for many many years to come and remember all the special moments!
