Serendipity is what comes to mind when I think about Alysa and Tyler’s outdoor wedding day at Farmington Lake… a happy accident, a strike of luck, a sprinkle of magic! From the first time I met Alysa and Tyler, what’s always stood out most about them is just how much soul radiates through their beings so to capture their wedding day, a day they’ve waited nearly 10 years to share together, was nothing short of magic. Their beautiful day was everything I could have dreamed of and more! Come take a look at more of this amazing day below!
A Serendipitous Boho Wedding Day At Farmington Lake
When we were talking on the phone during one of their consultation calls, Alysa mentioned that even though her ceremony was scheduled for 4:30 she was secretly hoping to be able to walk down the aisle at 4:44 (an angel number that presents itself in the presence of soulmates- it lets you know you’re exactly where you’re meant to be). And while we weren’t sure we would be able to time it that perfectly, we settled for, “if it’s meant to be it’ll be”. Well sure enough, the day after I got home from their wedding, I checked the time stamp on the metadata for when Alysa started walking down the aisle and goosebumps shot up my arm as the number 4:44:44 showed up next to the image. Serendipity.
Their True Love Shined Through Into Their Outdoor Wedding Day
Alysa’s heart and handiwork were weaved throughout their entire day. She made all of their flowers, their ceremony decorations, signs around the reception.. She truly brought her boho wedding dreams to life at Farmington Lake! She also weaved together the perfect balance of preserving traditions for their day that resonated with them and creating new traditions that reflected them as a couple. My favorite of which was sneaking back to their house after the ceremony was over and before heading to the reception for photos with their beloved dog, Cheef, and sharing a “first-joint” as Mr & Mrs ;)
When Alysa and Tyler were thanking their family and friends at their reception, Tyler said something notable that really stood out to me. He said, “I know we’ve shed a lot of tears today, but I guess that’s just us, we pour our hearts into everything we do and fill it with passion and intention..” and that was just the perfect way to sum up their day. Filled with love, with a passion for the life they are building together, and with intention to savor every bit of it.
